Archana comes from a lineage of four generations of jewellers; The Nahar’s. In 1900's her Great Grand Father traded in precious gemstones in the Land of the Nawabs, Lucknow. Her grandfather Mr. A C Nahar moved to Mumbai and laid the foundation for “Rosentiques” in 1978 establishing fine handcrafted uncut diamond jewelry boutique. “His son and grandsons expanded the vision to manufacturing of atelier jewellery in fine diamonds”
While other children spouted, "Red, green, blue" in kindergarten, Archana would respond, "Ruby, emerald, sapphire." Archana now expands the legacy of her forefathers beyond shores by establishing "Stellaire" in Dubai.
Archana's stint at the NIFT, Delhi was a natural progression. She studied textile design & discovered that colors speak a language, textures evoke feelings, the surface embellishments narrate a story and technology could blend heritage with modernity. Her time at FIDM, added spices of modernity, boldness, minimalism, classicism, an eclectic mix to her style.She became a global entrepreneur and a keen observer of design and lifestyles across the world. She built a successful career spanning over a decade in residential real estate in Los Angeles, winning awards year on year, for her excellent interpersonal skills, record sales volume and intuitive understanding of space, design, and her clients’ needs. Clients said her recommendations were "truly them & gave them the joy of lifestyle estates."
